The park also has many discovery trails and fishing opportunities to keep the kids occupied after their arms get tired.
For those on the western slope of Colorado, this Fruita reservoir is a great place for the little ones to paddle board. The water is only open to non-motor boats like kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards, so kids are able to paddle in calm waters. Snooks Bottom is located within the city limits which makes it a great place for an impromptu paddle or afternoon adventure.
